Appearance: Artemis is a very striking woman who could at first be considered a demon, her red eyes and hair can catch the gaze of almost anyone, even for just a split second, She has always been known to hide her left eye under her hair, for reasons unknown. She often wears a red short-sleeved shirt with golden accents, red/orange trousers under a bronze and leather skirt, and fancily decorated solid gold boots, and lastly a red/black cloak tied around her chest area by a brooch with an amber coloured crystal set into it. She can also wear hardened obsidian armour over all this. Her skin is quite pale, although she spends a lot of time in hot places.

Personality: Artemis has never been one to socialise with people. Her fiery persona, short temper, and dangerous power prevent much interaction between those who she stands besides, when she has to do something she often thinks of it as a chore and sometimes never gets around to doing it. She can also be considered as lazy and stubborn, preferring to do her own thing rather that what she should do, except if it's something she finds entertaining. Spending most of her time alone, nobody knows what she does all day and naturally, they worry. The only person she ever talks to on a daily basis is Ashima.

Likes: Ignoring people, hiding away, burning/melting/vaporising or otherwise destroying things, electronic music.
Dislikes: Being annoyed, religion, ice or cold water, losing.

History: Artemis was born into a very rich family, and received the kind of treatment that royalty would envy. Because of this, she became very lazy and it was only when her parents told her to leave home and do something worthwhile that she found her true calling-volcanoes. They seemed to cast a spell over her, she was intrigued at how they worked and what they did. She learned as much about vulcanology as she could, but science didn't seem to be enough with her. There was always magic though, and she turned to it afterwards, trying to learning how to harness the power of the earths core. Not much went into this however, and Artemis searched for a way to learn these powers faster and easier. Artemis came across the solution on an expedition to explore a series of underground tunnels. A lot of other people were there too, and this is where she met Ashima, as her parents were into geology. The two of them explored the caves together and discovered an underground temple in which Artemis found a gemstone that gave her control over magma. After having it in her possession, she began to act differently, like the gem was taking over her mind. With Ashima's help, the gem was brought under control, with the cost of much of it's power, but to this day Artemis stays away from people she cares about so that she doesn't hurt them if it happens again. She eventually joined the DWMA, it seemed like a good place to go to escape any hostility left over by the gem incident, and because Ashima pestered them to go together.

Other: Artemis' power over lava isn't the same as fire powers, instead of controlling it she uses it as a weapon by creating small and short-lived pools of lava or volcanoes, though they are so small and weak that there is no way she can rely on them, and prefers to train physically. She's very good at close combat, especially with her unity between her and Ashima. When she's about to enter a large scale fight, she summons a lava flow that pours over her and then vanishes, which activates her armour. It's probably the only truly powerful thing she can do, these powers would be much stronger, but since the gem that her powers come from has been weakened so much, nothing she creates is very strong or consistent.

Artemis was born as a sort of hybrid between humans and demons, though not through natural causes, rather through very dark magic known as Dark Nexus Energy, combining the life force of humans and demons into a child, raised in the hellish crucible of the underworld. She had a comfortable life, her every wish was granted in order for her to feel happy, which is why she is so lazy. Eventually she overheard voices acknowledging that she was a failure and they would have to start again, and they had no use for her anymore. Artemis knew this meant they would destroy her, so she quickly left. They weren't going to stop until they had her, so she knew the only way would be to leave the underworld. Obtaining a relic known as the Celestial Prism, she used it to escape into the human world, where she met Ashima. Seeking a place to call home, they discovered the DWMA, and Ashima desperately wanted Artemis to join with her. It took a lot (and I mean a lot) of convincing, but they were eventually taken in. wrote:

True, I guess I was trying something bold and new, but I had a feeling it wasn't going to be up to scratch. This might take me a little while to edit but I can tell it will be worth it.

Ok, that should do it, Ashima's should be done too by now.
