Blowing off steam

So uh... Felt kinda crappy for no reason. Just gunna write a really bad poem that makes zero sense. Feel free to completely ignore this thread because I really don't want feedback or anything. It just makes me feel better to rant poems where people can see sometimes. >~<'

I lay in bed at night, and hold close this small light.
This small light isn't bright, but with it I'm alright.
For this small light, this light in my hand...
This light is my lifeline, my tether, my band...
Without this light my mind would depart,
My sanity, my joy, my body would all fall apart...
All these people and places I paint in my head,
The voices and sounds that keep me looking ahead...
They all come from people, sent to this tiny glow...
But some come from people that I hardly know...
So why do they all make me feel so pleasant?
They fill me with joy and I feel less like a peasant...
Somebody please explain, make me understand!
Why is it without this light life is bland?!?
I hate it, the feeling that I can't walk away,
All these feelings that give me joy force me to stay...
I don't understand it, and yet I still play along...
It's like life is a record with only one song...

XD this is the first time I've looked at anything in this section other than what has been linked in the cbox, ;w; just accept the compliment and shut up
