To Rescue a Cat

A small black kitten lay curled in a ball on the sidewalk. It had a large wound on it's side, dying it's fur a redish color in that spot. It also had what looked to be claw marks on one shoulder, and a wound similar to the one on it's side on the other shoulder. It didn't look good for the small cat, who we all know as Kitty. People passed, paying no mind to a useless stray. She'd whine lightly, but it didn't help. Nobody could hear her anyways.

Allister and Lucciano was walking down the sidewalk chatting when all of a sudden Allister gasped extremely loud
"OH MY GOODNESS!!!" He exclaimed as he bent down to kitty's side "who...would do this to such an innocent creature.." he whimpered

Lucciano bent down next to Allister "it needs a vet.. " he said, stating the obvious, Allister didn't hesitate to pick kitty up gently "we have to hury!!" He exclaimed as he started to rush towards the direction of the nearest pet hospital

Kitty was in pain. Picking her up didn't help, in fact it made her want to attack him. However, in her current condition she wasn't going to pick another fight. So she just let him do as he would, taking her wherever. Maybe he'd take her somewhere nice and warm so she could lay down and get better? Wounds like these needed care, but Kitty didn't know that.

Allister ran inside the animal hospital with kitty, he quickly rushed to the front desk "THIS POOR ANIMAL NEEDS TREATMENT NOW!!!" He exclaimed, the woman at the desk nodded "alright, is this your cat?" "IT DOESN'T MATTER JUST HEAL HER! ILL PAY FOR ANYTHING!!" He exclaimed, the woman nodded again and went to get the doctors

Soon after the woman came back with a doctor and a portable hospital bed "pet her on the bed, son" the doctor said urgently, Allister did what he was told and watched as they pushed the bed to an operating room

"I hope she'll be alright......" Allister said with a sad sigh, Lucciano, who just now was able to catch up with him, patted Allister on the back "it'll be ok, All...."

Awhile later, the doctors came back. They had no idea what had attacked this cat, but it had not been kind. After a few hours and a lot of effort, they returned again with the cat. She was curled up in a traveling kennel, a bandage around her midsection and crossed on her shoulders. It was almost like a white tank top. It'd be awhile before she'd be at her full capabilities again, but she'd live. Kitty was sleeping in the case, and they were told that because it had no collar they could take her home when the bill ws paid if they wanted.

Allister sighed in relief "thank you so much, don't worry I'll pay as soon as I can"
Lucciano raised an eyebrow "and how much is it?"
((If All had a bake sale and lucc had a kissing booth they'd make up the money in no time :3 ))

The doctors gave a price. It wasn't a lot due to Kitty not needing surgeries, but it was still a vet bill. They handed off the small cat, which was still asleep and glad to be alive. Life was good for now. She was alive, she was safe, and she could live to kill another day. She might even have some new friends. New friends were good. Very very good.

Allister gently holds kitty and pets her with a bright smile

Kitty's ear twitched a bit at the petting, but she stayed asleep quite contently. She even let out a small pur. She nuzzled the hand a bit, waking up in a slight daze. "Nya...?" She questioned lazily, scanning her surroundings.

Allister smiled and cuddles her gently, Lucciano raised an eyebrow "are we going now?"

Kitty took a look at the boy cuddling her. He seemed nice. Was he the one that brought her here? Yeah. That was definitely him. Maybe he'd feed her. She'd been living on food scraps and food orbs. Did food orbs even count as food? She had made up the name herself, so maybe not. Oh well.

"How about after you get some rest I'll make you a treat~" Allister said with a smile

Kitty wasn't sure of what he was saying, but it sounded nice. Maybe it involved food? Food was good. Of course, Kitty always wanted food. But right now she was still in a little pain. She'd just... curl up and take a little nap here. This guy would keep her safe, right?

Allister smiled warmly as he carried the sleeping kitty home, Lucciano followed close behind him, for some reason Lucciano couldn't help but feel some sort of way about this cat they just found....

Kitty remained curled in her ball, actually quite content with this boy. He was really warm and she was really comfortable. Maybe she'd live with him awhile? Just until she got better. Maybe longer if he was really nice. Then it was back to getting the food orbs again. Food orbs were always nice.

Lucciano opened the door for Allister as he carried Kitty inside, he walked over to their couch and gently put her down on the plush couch pillow and pet her gently "you get some rest while I make you a tasty treat~" he said sweetly

Kitty finally felt like making a sound. "Mew!~" The small cat cooed and remained tucked in it's ball on the couch, sinking in a bit. This was nice. People that she didn't plan to kill paying atention to her. Apmost made her feel like it was a new home.

Alllister chuckled warmly as he went to the kitchen to cook a fish casserole, while he was away Lucciano sat next to kitty and narrowed his eyes, something was definatly off about this cat.....

Kitty glanced over at Lucciano from her ball, only half awake. She could see that he was uncomfortable, but was unaware that it was her fault. She decided to roll over onto his lap, exposing her belly and stretching. She let out a little yawn, then looked up at him adoringly. "Nya?"

Lucciano couldn't help but smile and pet the little kitty, maybe his suspicious were just some silly superstition.... Hopefully

Kitty purred happily, wiggling playfully as he pet her. The pain hurt, (no, really genius?) but the atention helped to keep her mind off it. The guy seemed less tense now, which ment she could stop worrying and accept the petting. Petting was nice. Almost as nice as food.

Allister came out the kitchen a while later wearing his pink apron while holding a small dish of homemade fish casserole, specially designed for cats

"Here you go, kitty ~" Allister said as he gently put the dish near the couch with a sweet smile

Kitty could instantly smell food when Allister entered the room, so when he set the dish down she isnstantly bolted to it and began to eat. So "treat" DID mean food. She'd have to remember that word. Maybe she could try to say it later, but for now she had a casserole to eat. It had been awhile since she had good food, so she was pretty happy.

Allister bent down next to kitty and gently started to pet her as she ate happily with a sweet smile

Kitty finished her food, then began nuzzling Allister's hand playfully. She was feeling much better now that she'd eaten and rested, but it'd be hard to jump anywhere or run for awhile. So instead, she'd do what she did best: relax and kill things. Ok, so one out of two wasn't terrible. She'd settle for just relaxing...

Allister stroked her head gently then picked up the empty dish "I'll be back after I do the dishes" he said before walking to the kitchen

Kitty made her way over to Lucciano on the couch, deciding it was time to start getting used to her other form. Deciding she wanted attention, she stopped at Lucciano's feet and began glowing with an odd purple light. As the light got brighter, her form changed to that of a small girl with black hair. The hair hung in two ponytails. On her head were a pair of cat ears and from her rear was a tail. Wherever Kitty had been bandaged, so too was this girl. She sat on the floor and looked up at Lucciano with a smile. Most people might assume she was a witch.

Lucciano's eyes got big with surprise "um...Al.....you might want to come back to the living room....RIGHT NOW!" he said loudly, Allister came back to the living room "whats wrong Lucc...." he began to say before he stopped in his tracks "w-whos that?!" he exclaimed, blushing brightly
