Problem?

It seems that ever since that rule on chat rp was made people have been showing up less,  I'm glad that threads are more active, but waiting in between post is sort of....bland :/.

Well, given that we only have like 8 active users, there is barely any posting going on right now, that the head admin left, that the other admin is not active when he is on, that Pin doesn't do anything anymore, that Prof is leaving the site, and that we have some other members thinking about leaving. Yeah, we do have a bit of a problem here. All I know is that I'm going to stay till the site dies officially, which may happen soon.

I don't know about anyone else, but i'm fine with the no Chat Rp if you don't have characters approved, it should inffluence people to finish their characters, it sure is doing it for me. I think a major problem as of right now is the activity of are mods and Admins, the fact that they have stopped working/caring is kinda unfair to the members who want to keep this going. Now i understand laziness, i'm lazy enough as it is, but isn't it simple to just scan a character and see whats up? Maybe a change in staff is in order, but i know people on this site really shouldn't be staff, i say this with no offense to anyone. Hell, i think i'm one of those people, but if non of the mods or admins are going to be active then it would be best to give the power to others and see if it fixes the problems or drives this site to it's death. Anything is better than what we have going on right now, the Chat Box rp is the least of are worries...really, to me that is. (May have been out of context, but it needed to be said)

I agree with everything except maybe the staff part, some are poofy because of real life problems. So maybe instead of new staff we could get MORE? And maybe more advertising, there's a fandom club in my school and I could try telling people about the site, I could also could advertise on Mär, and people could here could advertise more too.

I have a few places I'm going to spike ads, now that I'm back. It's true that the staff isn't keeping up, but as a few of you said, they are suffering for different reasons, something I understand quite a bit. I would suggest more staff as well, but with such a low population their options are slim. I hate to say it, but if you guys plan to save the site, it'll take a lot of effort and possibly even motivation. I'm in though...

I'm glad you decided to join Ema, I forgot to mention all the problems the staff may be facing. I'm down for saving this site, it just involves comitment and teamwork. The staff problem can be solved, hell, we could run a poll to see who thinks who would be good for staff if needed.

I am highly to blame for this issue as well. I'm not a very active staff member and a worse head-admin at that. I don't do a lot to invigorate the site, but at the same time I'm very busy and not. I will be trying to move us out of these doldrums as soon as possible, however, with a plan. That's half formed. But still a plan.
