Olumis Sale
Name: Olumis
Age: 3, but the souls used to construct him are 18, 20, and 42
Gender: boy
Weapon: Unable to wield one due to the delecate balance of his three souls

Appearance: A golem created by a dying order using a crash test dummy as a base frame. Olumis has synthetic skin around his head and collar. He was originally meant to be able to mimic people's faces, but that feature was never activated. Underneath his cloathes his body is a mess of flesh collored parts with joints and lightweight metal reinforcements underneith. While he's not naturally born, his body has a green liquid flowing through tubes that is required to keep his souls from rejecting eachother and very slowly regenerate wounds. Prett much his equivilant of blood but more resiliant to contamination.

Normally, Olumis wears a grey trench coat and hat with a pair of black pants and shoes. Under his coat is a black shirt with a shoulder holster modified to hold a variety of hidden pockets instead of a gun. Using a bit of misdirection, he can easilly pick someone's pocket and stash stolen items away in his holder without being noticed. He also wears black gloves with holes cut out of the palms. When his body detects a strong-willed threat, an eye with Soul Perception will come out of the palm of each hand to quickly gather, process, and store data on their wavelength and abilities.

Personality: Olumis ended up rather conflicted after being created. The memories of all 3 souls needed to make his purpose work flooded his mind, forcing him into an uncontious state for several weeks. He went through a bit of an identity crisis, questioning his existance and if anything he knew was real until he mentally shoved himself at the center of his own perception of the world. Olumis is, what some would call, a conspiricy theory nut. He makes wild connections on anything that he believes makes no sense just to stand on top of his logic and believe he's right, forming his own identity within himself. Even if proven wrong, Olumis will almost always figure out an alternative explemation for how everything fits together like one giant jigsaw puzzle (just with a few pieces cut apart here and there to make them fit).

In combat, he's supprisingly level headed and able to quickly adapt to new situations and think on his feet. But, as far as long term strategy goes, he usually comes up short, having to rely on his abilities to overpower an opponent rather than look for indirect methods of approaching things.
Likes: Sharing his theories about the world, thinking he's right, Ramen (can't eat, but enjoys the concept of it), and the color black. Because black is "the only way to hide yourself from mental control" :/
Dislikes: People who pity him, know-it-alls, attempts to disprove him, shrimp, and Lord Death.... Mainly because "Lord Death is just a puppet for the Witch agenda."

History: Originally designed to work for an Order of witches. Olumis was meant to be able to disguise himself as an ordinary person, catch the target alone, and then mimic their abilities to finish them off. The idea was that in a direct fight if he can use the same abilities the enemy does with another person's abilities on top of that, he would always have an advantage. Or, so was the theory. In practice, the Order quickly discovered he had to learn the new skills as he went and was prone to glitches where he didn't immediatly realize certain skills even existed until the enemy had already used them. On top of that, the disguise never worked, meaning that most people would see the faceless golem coming a mile away, keeping him from gaining the much-needed first attack in a battle. Before any of this could be resolved, the Order was attacked by the DWMA and forced to continue their work in secret, leaving their experiment to wander the world on his own, searching for the answear to it all.

Other: Through a powerful combination of magic, wavelength adaptabillity, and wavelength projection, Olumis can copy an enemie's abilities at a glance and re-create them out of nowhere. Up to 3 ability sets can be stored and everyone with a strong enough wavelength that acts aggressively twoards him have their abilities copied. This means that he's forced to discard one of his ability sets to make room for the new set.

As useful as this seems, it takes one post to process the data from a new ability set. Durring this time period, Olumis is briefly exposed. On top of that, certain abilities such as Black Blood, physical modifications, and some organic skills cannot be used. However, weapons can be easilly replicated in weapon form (even if they never take the full weapon form). Also, a meister wielding a weapon is simply treated as one ability set and will only use one slot.

All 3 of Olumis's souls are gained from one family. A witch mother, her versitile weapon daughter who suffered several experiments as well as psycological torture and manipulation, and the witch's son. A man who practically merged with his imperfect Black Blood to the point that they began to share a common contiousness that drove him to madness.

I'll make a thread to keep up with which abilities Olumis currently has and who they originally belonged to.

Have you read the rules?
Lets go Soul, resonance!

First off, very interesting(however repulsive) concept.

Moving on, he doesn't seem to have eyes other than one stored inside of his hand. Considering that I would request that you explain how he perceives thing visually(if at all) on a regular basis. Next, and more importantly, his powers are just a little OP. Even with considerable draw backs like not being able to use black-blood, or resonate with a weapon, the ability to copy 3 "sets" of abilities, can prove phenomenally OP depending on who he encounters. One suggestion might be the he can store 2 abilities per soul, adding up to six. Maybe more as he grows in power. This will allow him to make up for his own missing qualities, as well as keep him from being Asura, Lord Death, and Excalibur.

In the absence of a better explemation, would it be ok to say he just has eyes under the fake skin layer on his face? Like it's just a one-way view. He can see out but people aren't able to see in.

As for OP.... Well, I really didn't want to announce this, but there's a very stupidly easy way to beat him. He forced to take one turn to process each character's ability sets. So, say he comes across a weapon and a meister. The weapon attacks then the meister attacks. While he might have been able to take one turn to go over one of them, by attacking seperately, he's forced to take 2 turns of just standing. So they would both basically get at least one free hit. Maybe 2 if they attack in the same post the fight starts.

It's meant to be a risk vs. Rewards type of thing. He'd be super fun to play as, but if he can't avoid attacks in the first few turns he's going to have a really rough time.

Okay that grants it considerable balance, HOWEVER!! There still isn't a limit to what he can copy, and that can still make him pretty nasty. The fact that he can still copy a power like Lord Death is not only unfair, but doesn't make a whole lot of sense. Three presumably regular human souls with the ability to copy powers from species of soul.

He has a limit of being unable to copy from organic or specific abilities. I mean, Lord Death has no soul so it wouldn't work on him or any clowns. And most Kishin Eggs are based around organic abilities so those would be out of the question. The only character types he'd definatly be able to copy are meisters, weapons, Dark Weapons, and Witches...... So that cuts things down quite a bit. And, without a reliable way to gain souls, the only reliable way to get high-ranking ability sets would be by going after Dark Weapons and Witches.

Lord Death does have a soul. How else would he remove certain parts of it to create Kid, and Asura? Also, I can't see him being able to copy a witch's spells unless one, or more of the souls he has is a witch soul, and the same with weapon souls.

That is actually specifically the case. He was originally intended for the other SE site as a combination of Rufus Creig, Etta Creig, and Grimweld's souls. A meister with imperfect black blood and high control over his wavelength, a weapon capable of matching wavelengths with anyone (possibly due to heavy experimentation), and their witch mother.

Also, in SE, Maka specifically tries to use Soul Perception on Lord Death near the beginning and sees nothing, remarking "I guess Death just doesn't have a soul...." Even if he did, it would be immune to Soul Perception anyways which ruins his ability to scan and copy Lord Death's techniques.

If you wait till it pans out you'll see that Lord Death's soul is actually so large you can't see it from inside the city. .-.

And with the correction of his varying soul types, and the assumption of him flowing seamlessly between absorbed powers, I find this character acceptable. Please edit to indicate these things. Also, I assume that he cannot copy a Shinigami's abilities due to not having a soul of that type.
